Wood Turning/Bowls

In 2022 I did my first wood turned piece - a handle for a small brush. Since then I have continued to learn this skill. Here are some of the turned pieces I have made. I sell them at Vernon Open Studios and the Lexington Holiday Market Place. Note: Most of my wood pieces start off as recently cut pieces of felled or fallen trees - see images of wood pile. I then have to do an initial 'turn', seal the wood, and store in the basement for many months until it dries. Then the bowl is put back on the lathe and turned til finished.
