Migration (& mourning baskets)
This art piece was created after a horrible year (2013-2014) in which many people we knew passed. This including my mother, step-father, step-mother, and many others. To help mourn, I created this work out of paper, toner and thread. I also created crocheted baskets where, using beads, I coded expressions such as “I love you” into the stitches.
Make America Kind button series
Peter Greif came up with this idea of making buttons to give away to whoever would like one. We aim to give away 1000 buttons to spread this message of kindness to our beloved nation.
